Research Project TRN Gender & Queer Studies

This Thematic Research Network is a research project of the Initiative Gender and Queer Studies. Prof. Dr. Renata Motta and Jun.-Prof. Dr. Yaatsil Guevara González of the HCIAS are involved as Principal Investigator. The TRN aims to anchor the research perspectives of Gender & Queer Studies within the university and to connect them with existing research activities. Adopting gender- and queer-theoretical approaches, the network seeks both to diversify and critically reflect on existing research topics at the university, as well as to develop new fields of research. Furthermore, the TRN supports measures to increase the visibility of Gender & Queer Studies at Heidelberg University, for example, through events such as the Queer & Gender Studies Science Slam.
