International Virtual Academic Collaboration, supported by the DAAD Communication and Society in Ibero-America – CS@Ibero-America
The goal of this project is to support the advantageous usage of digital media in order to expand the possibilities for collaborative work between university partners and further together develop sustainable formats supporting future-oriented teaching. The HCIAS is partnered on this project with the Universidad de Chile and the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which are drawing upon structures set in place by the Hidelberg Center Latin America (HCLA) in Santiago de Chile, an excellence center for the promotion of cooperative projects. CS @ Ibero-America is developing collaborative learning formats for international students which are complemented by Blended Mobility, a new model for mobility. The knowledge gained by teachers and students alike will be saved to and further developed on a hybrid exchange platform according to Community of Practice standards.
