Cooperation on climate change and energy transition
Dr. Aner Martínez Soto from the Universidad de la Frontera in Temuco, Chile, will be researching at Heidelberg University from 2023 to 2025 as part of a fellowship from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Aner Martínez's research aims to develop a holistic understanding of the vulnerabilities to energy poverty and air pollution in cities with heterogeneous boundary conditions and to present a multifactorial assessment of the risks associated with energy poverty. At Heidelberg University, he is collaborating with the Heidelberg Institute for Geoinformation and Technology, HeiGIT, the Heidelberg Center for the Environment, and, at the HCIAS, with Dr. Rosa Lehmann, Junior Professor of "Innovation and Sustainability in Ibero-America".
