About UsMathis Teucher

Mathis Teucher is a master’s student of the international Double Degree in Specialized Translation and Cultural Mediation at the Institute of Translation and Interpreting at Heidelberg University and the Faculty of Translation and Documentation at the University of Salamanca. He is part of the Communication and Cognition research group at the HCIAS and studies communication and discourse coherence in Spanish and German from a pragmatic perspective. While studying Translation Studies at Heidelberg University in German, Spanish, and English, he spent several academic stays abroad at different universities in Spain and Ireland and worked as a student assistant for academic coordination. Currently, Mathis is the project assistant in the DAAD-funded international teaching project “Communication and Society in Ibero-America – CS@Ibero-America_PLUS”.
