About UsAnthony Meluso

Anthony Meluso holds a M.Sc. degree in Geography from the University of New Mexico and a B.A. in Geography from the University of Colorado. His research draws on critical development studies to improve well-being and mutual understanding. In his dissertation project, Anthony focuses on trust building in Mexico’s factory boom towns. His research centers on interpersonal relationships as well as geopolitical strategy.

Regionally, Anthony focuses on Mexico and the Southwestern United States. He translates experiences that transcend boundaries and languages with ethnographic and quantitative methods. To better understand perspectives on a transboundary water struggle, Anthony lived with activists in Mexico. Additionally, he helped draft water agreements with Native American tribes and worked on factory redesign and team building with a heterogeneous workforce in Boulder, CO.

He also works with visual media. Anthony produced Amache Rose, a documentary about Japanese-Americans unjustly imprisoned during WW2, and efforts to preserve this memory. He has also worked on several mapping projects.
