Mobility Window Exchange Programs for HCIAS Students

The HCIAS Master's program is internationally oriented. To facilitate study or research stays abroad, the HCIAS has established multiple international cooperation agreements and exchange programs with various partner universities in Ibero-America and Spain. HCIAS Master’s students may use the mobility window for a study abroad. Generally, it is recommended for students to undertake their stay abroad around the third semester of their studies. Coursework completed at the partner institution can be credited toward the master’s program, provided it is approved in advance by the HCIAS study coordinator.

The HCIAS exchange programs cover tuition fees at the host university and students may apply for scholarships from funding institutions such as the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). A comprehensive overview of potential funding opportunities can be found on the Heidelberg University's website or in the scholarship database of the DAAD.
